When is the best time to prune my dogwood?

We prune during the winter to focus on structure, including shaping. In the summer, we concentrate primarily on perfecting the tree’s canopy shape and we carefully prune only the most problematic crossing or rubbing branches to ensure the tree’s protection and health.

Do you use loud equipment, like wood chippers?

At Dogwood Pruning, we absolutely do NOT use wood chippers on-site. All pruned dogwood parts are carefully organized on our truck and hauled away with the goal of repurposing everything responsibly.

Payment is due once you’ve reviewed the finished dogwood and confirmed it has met the agreed-upon work order. We’ll send an invoice via email through XERO’s secure payment process, which accepts both credit and debit cards. Alternatively, you may choose to pay by check.
